Using the leftover cheese platter from tonight's floor programing, I cooked my first homemade mac-n-cheese. The recipe called for olive oil, flour, milk and cheese, but I don't think I made the sauce properly. The texture of the sauce is very clumpy and grainy with a strong flavor of olive oil. Instead of heating the olive oil and flour on medium heat, I put it on high, and instead of slowly mixing in the milk, I dumped it all in. That's probably why the texture of the sauce was so repulsive. Uber fail...
Lesson of the day: Don't rush processes that need time.
