Our community service event for DSP rush was filling these plastic bins with soil for future seedlings at the greenhouses in Forest Park. It was really random, but really fun.
This reminded me of the parable of the sower in Mark 4, where the sower plants seeds that grow differently depending on the type of soil that it lands in. I have to remember that my duty is to sow seeds and hope for the best, but ultimately God decides what type of soil is in a person's heart at the time.
